Displaying shortcuts in Visual Studio tooltips

To display keyboard shortcuts in Visual Studio tooltips do the following:

  • Visual Studio.Net 2003
    Go to Tools/Customize and make sure that Show shortcut keys in ScreenTips is selected in the Options tab.

  • Visual Studio 2005
    Go to Tools/Customize and make sure that Show shortcut keys in ScreenTips is selected in the Toolbars tab.
