Enumerating the current user’s NT groups

Here’s how to enumerate the currently logged in user’s NT groups (local and domain groups):

// Enumerate current user's NT groups
var i = WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent();

// Translate groups from type System.Security.Principal.SecurityIdentifier
